Biography

Sir Winston Churchill began his life in Blenheim, Oxfordshire, England on the 30th of November in 1874. He was the son of the Lord Randolph Churchill the Duke of Marlborough. He was rebelious and independent through grade school which led to him getting punished a great deal and ended up having him put into military schools. He had what he called a “speech impediment” which he constantly tried to get over. He married to Clementine Hozier on September 12th 1908. He had joined the Army in 1893 through his military schooling, he used his high-ranking family to get the frontlines in any chance he could get, all the while doing reports for the local papers where he was in the frontlines. This was the basis of his writing career which eventually would be very well known. While he served in the army he began his life as a politician constantly striving to move up the ranks. He eventually became Prime Minister of England in 1940 right as war was approaching. His inspirational speech writing righting held Britain up through the war, he later served a second term as Prime Minister from 1951-1955.He died January 24th, 1965 at the age of 90.
